This page is for Google Play and App Store account-deletion rules. It explains how to delete your UniClub account and personal data.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the UniClub app on your phone.
- Sign in with your school email and password.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete my account.
- Confirm. Deletion starts immediately and you are signed out.
For security you must have signed in within the last 10 minutes. If the app has been open a long time, sign out, sign in again, then delete.
If you cannot open the app
Email club.uniclub@gmail.com from your school address. Use the subject “Account deletion — UniClub”. We resolve the request as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
Club manager accounts cannot be deleted from the student app. Email the same address from the club login email.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (email and authentication)
- Your profile (name, student number, phone number, class year, faculty, department, photo)
- Club memberships, event registrations, applications and tickets
- Comments, likes, form responses (including event forms), ratings and points records
- Your RUSH and daily game (UniWord, UniBlast) results
- Notifications, follow relationships and shared lists
- Stand email records (verification code, welcome email)
What is kept
- Your name on a club’s list — only if you agreed. If you separately ticked “Keep my name on the list even if I delete my account” for a club on the stand form, only your first and last name and the date you joined stay on that club’s list. Your email, phone and student number are still deleted. The record is kept for at most 2 years; you can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to club.uniclub@gmail.com. - Excel files clubs downloaded earlier. These are on the club’s device and UniClub cannot delete them. You can ask the club or us to have them deleted; we will pass the request on to the club.
- Coupon and report records, with your name and ID removed (for the business’s campaign statistics and content moderation)
- Events and announcements published by clubs (not your account)
- Anonymous totals such as member counts
- Backups and server logs for up to 30 days, then they are permanently removed. We do not keep your data for other purposes unless the law requires it.
Cancellation
After you confirm, the action cannot be undone. To use UniClub again you must create a new account.
